 Sunday 18 May 2025

After a good night's sleep and a bit of a lie-in, we got out of bed and drank tea/coffee to wake up. Danny woke up full of beans, and raced around the house pushing a big wooden toy truck.

Robyn received an Email yesterday - the apartment we booked in Lincoln is no longer available. The company that owns it has gone into receivership. They kindly informed us that the booking agency (not the owners) might give us our money back. I think the relevant term is Unsecured Creditor. That is- they are keeping our $200. We will find somewhere else to stay, and send off an Email to Booking.com regarding a refund.

Today all of us are going to The Hills of Rivermakers for lunch. This is an old Lime Acetate factory on the Brisbane River in Morningside. The place is aimed at families with young children. There was a petting zoo, "dinosaur" rides, and a few play areas.

Mikeal and Danny on a dinosaur !

We had an excellent lunch, and then drove home for a much needed sleep.

Danny was very tired, even after his afternoon nap. Eventualy we persuaded him to eat his dinner, and got him to bed. Now the adults are going to bed also.
